Global
Rural NetCo, has been formed to pursue the business of owning, providing
and maintaining shared active infrastructure assets and services. Global Rural NetCo
is registered with the Department of Telecommunications as an Infrastructure Provider
Category I (IP-I).
It implements the model of infrastructure sharing by building, owning, operating
and maintaining the shared resources for multiple service providers. The shared
resources would include:
Radio Access Network
Distributed Antenna System
Optical Fiber Network
The key elements of Global Rural NetCo’s business strategy would include
Owning, building and sharing of active infrastructure
